I was planning on reviewing my new neighbors, whom I understand are from Pakistan, but while I was awaiting my complimentary nuclear missile from India, I happened to catch the MTV sitcom, 2gether, about a "boy band" in the N'Sync mode, except totally dysfunctional and including a Chris Farley lookalike, and since I have not exactly been kissing Viacom's butt with my Real World .9 reviews, and liked the episode so much I've actually watched twenty minutes of it twice today, well, I thought I'd give the boys a break.

I believe 2gether normally follows the Real World (or Son of the Beach a really great show) Tuesdays on the 10 spot, as they say and I for one am personally looking forward to the reruns as I'd like to learn the characters names and such, how they got together, and all that good stuff. It's a really funny show. In fact, if you think too long you might miss some of the guffawish humor (and if you watch the same episode twice you might realize, like I did, that the show doesn't hold up all that well under any kind of scrutiny).

Basically, it's Neil Simon's The Odd Couple times 2 -- with a slobby kind of pair and a faggy kind of pair and then some Eminem Wannabe who is, I guess, the "whacky one," gangsta style....

Excuse me, it's my damn neighbors again. They moved into the condo across from the Millennial Condo not too long ago and have done their best to bring down property values ever since. Now you non-Americans might not understand this, but here in the good old US of A we don't, out side of Appalachia or Harlem live 6 (with one on the way) to a one bedroom apartment... and it's not like they're poor and can't afford anything bigger... I know what they paid for the place. they have two cars -- nice ones... not roll over death traps, and yes I understand children will be children (they looked like boys the one time I saw the two tikes -- - screaming at the time, constantly screaming; screaming now) who live with ma and pa and grandpa and grandma and if I didn't lock my door, probably would come live with me.

So anyway, catch 2gether on MTV at 10:30 Tuesdays and, like all else on MTV, in continual rerun thereafter... me, I have to read the manual which came with this short range nuclear missile and write a brief note of thanks to the good people in the government of India.....
