You can include just about any paper that is not wax-coated, foil-coated or soiled with food, including:
Newspaper and Inserts
- White and Colored Paper Magazines
Junk Mail
- Cereal-type Boxes Envelopes
Paperback Books
- Phone Books Catalogs
Paper Bags
- Egg Cartons
Note: You don't have to remove labels, staples or envelope windows. All paper must be in paper bags, in cereal-type boxes or bundled. Do not put paper loose in your recycling bin. You can now combine newspaper and mixed paper.
- Corrugated Cardboard bundled
Flatten, cut down and tie with twine or put in paper bags. Each bundle should be no more than 3 feet by 3 feet by 1 foot high.
- Recyclable Bottles, Cans and Foil together in your blue bin
You can include:
Glass bottles and jars
Tin/Steel/Aluminum cans, foil and pie plates
Flattened #1 and #2 Plastic Bottles and Jugs

Plant Debris in Green Bins
- Collected every other week, same day as trash and recycling.
MATERIALS: Include grass clippings, leaves, pruning, brush, and unpainted wood scraps. DO NOT INCLUDE kitchen scraps, fruit, palm fronds, rocks, dirt, glass, metal, plastic, or any other non-plant debris. All branches must be bundled and be less than 5 feet long and less than 6 inches in diameter
