Arlene's Mother's Lemon Pie 1 lemon (save zest) 1 c. + 1 T. sugar 4 eggs (save the whites of three for meringue) 1 T. flour 1 c. milk 1 unbaked 10" pie shell
Mix ingredients, including lemon zest, and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake until custard sets. Top with meringue made of 3 egg whites beaten stiff with 1 T. sugar.
