Lemon Bars

Makes one half commercial pan. (that's a lot)

preheat oven to 350 and mix with pastry blender:

1 & 1/3 c butter

1 c sugar

4 c flour

press this by hand into a pan so that it covers the bottom and bake for 15

min.

mix and beat well:

8 eggs

3 c sugar

1/2 c flour

1/4 c lemon juice

1tps baking powder

4 tps salt

grated lemon peel

pour this over the baked crust and bake for 20-25 min. Sift powdered sugar

on top.
